The Annual

The CAAA Annual is a full-colour publication where you can find out more about the award recipients of the year, be they gold, silver or bronze. Gold winners also have in-depth profiles and articles about the works and their creator(s). It also features a spotlight on the platinum winner, awarded to a person deemed to have contributed much to the industry and promotion of Australian comics in recent years. It also looks back, with two Ledger of Honour (Hall of Fame) awards given to a living legend, awarded to a creator who is still alive, and a dead-set legend, someone who had contributed much, but now deceased. Each issue also contains a directory of Short Listed projects. There are also additional articles pertinent to Australian comics and its history, and, from 2017, an anthology of comics (over 40 pages!) featuring work from a wide range of Australian creators.
